About The Owner, Michael Lauhoff

Michael Lauhoff, Owner - Lauhoff Environmental

I’m Mike Lauhoff and I’ve been managing hospitals, manufacturing plants and commercial buildings for over 30 years. Over those years I’ve completed thousands of building repairs. I’m also an Instructor for the BOMI institute whereby I teach 8 different college level courses for property and facility managers. I consider these courses to be best in-class for the education of those individuals charged with managing facilities. I’m certified through the IICRC. So, my standards are extremely high.

I decided to open Lauhoff Environmental since it is closely related to building repair. However, what drove me to mold remediation was learning how many companies are selling their services but not using “best practices” in industry. Often times, the sales person misleads the home owner or PM/FM and really doesn’t know the proper methodology to remediate mold. Others will cut corners so as to get in and get out asap. Not me. Education is power and part of our method of operations is fully educating you on exactly how the remediation process will occur. We work with you. I’ll treat your home or office as though it was mine and bring you the most value and knowledge so the job gets done correctly the first time. There are Standards in this industry and should be adhered to. The final result should be driven by science.
